How to Try Konstruct for Free on Civo

Get a full Kubernetes platform — management cluster, workload cluster, GitOps, and platform tooling — completely free.

Step 1: Sign Up at Civo​

  1. Go to dashboard.civo.com/signup and create a free account
  2. You'll receive introductory credit — enough to run your management and workload clusters at no cost

Step 2: Sign In to Konstruct​

  1. Go to konstruct.saas.konstruct.io
  2. Sign in with your Civo account — Konstruct uses Civo SSO, so there's nothing extra to set up

Konstruct's permanent home will be konstruct.saas.civo.com — we're moving there soon.

Step 3: Connect Your GitHub Organization​

  1. Navigate to Organizations and select your organization
  2. Click the Git connection tab, then click Connect
  3. Authorize the Konstruct GitHub App and select your GitHub organization
  4. Konstruct will automatically create a private GitOps repository (yourorg-gitops) to manage your infrastructure

Step 4: Add Your Civo Cloud Account​

  1. In your organization, go to Cloud Accounts
  2. Click Add cloud account and select Civo
  3. Enter a name and paste your Civo API key (find it in your Civo Dashboard under Settings > Profile > Security)
  4. Click Save

Step 5: Create Your Management Cluster​

  1. Click Create Cluster from the dashboard
  2. Select Civo as your cloud provider
  3. Choose a region and cluster name
  4. Click Create — Konstruct provisions your management cluster with ArgoCD, Crossplane, and full platform tooling pre-installed

Step 6: Create a Workload Cluster​

  1. From your management cluster dashboard, click Add Workload Cluster
  2. Select Civo as the provider
  3. Pick a name and region
  4. Click Create — your workload cluster will be provisioned and connected to your management cluster via GitOps
